Food is overpriced and just not that good. Crab claw appetizers have almost zero crab; fried scallops have zero taste. The best thing we had was the coconut wasabi tuna but it tasted like it was doused in syrup, it was so sweet. Save your money and go to a dive, like Doc's, where you'll get better food and keep some Hamiltons in your wallet. Oh, and one thing about the salad bar - when the vegetables are outnumbered by the tubs of salad dressings and meat, that's not a salad bar.

The restaurant is actually called "Wolf Bay Lodge" which is at Zeke's Landind Marina yelp.com/biz/wolf-bay-lo…

great location, at Zeke's marina, we sat outside next to the water and boats, nice sea breeze and beautiful views. Food was great, but the atmosphere makes this location a definite stop on your trip. It is a little difficult to find, it is located behind a small strip center and poor signing.

Had dinner here yesterday. we went early as we had twelve people. They seated us within ten minutes. The place was pretty warm and noisy. The food however, made up for it. My wife and I split the fried crab claws and she had a wedge salad while I had a West Indies salad. The crab claws were very good and both salads were top notch. The service was pretty good too. We would probably come back here.

Well we shouldn't be too surprised that Orange Beach is pretty devoid of vegan and vegetarian options and well, we weren't. However, Friday night dinner was a nearly a pseudo-fiasco. Evidently this particular weekend had somehow fallen on Flora-Bama's annual Mullet Toss, so thus flooding Orange Beach with an obscene number of visitors. The first seafood joint our group of of eight had wandered into required an hour and half wait. Erm . . . no thanks. We preceded to Yelp up and call some other joints and bam, Wolf Bay Lodge had no wait and the close proximity to the rented beach house didn't hurt. The other vegan and I had strategically "pre-eaten," but turns out Wolf Bay has a surprisingly adequate salad bar. I think one trip is $6, two trips is a bit more, and unlimited trips is $9? Most of the entrees come with with a single salad bar trip. While the salad bar did yield some soggy slimy spinach leaves (ew) and there wasn't a bunch of exotic options. I mean the canned chickpeas and beets got me a little excited, I'm not even going to lie. I almost regretted pre-eating because this was likely my opportunity to ingest non-frozen fresh produce. Oh well, a vegan can never be too prepared in hostile omnivore mullet-tossing terrain! (Kidding . . . or am I?) While it was pleasant day out of the patio and our waitress was superb and accommodating (with a charming accent), we had the misfortune of being seated in close proximity to a bunch of drunken "bros." At some point during their dinner, they felt obligated to demand all the patio occupants to give a standing ovation to their late arrival friend. Prior to this, one of them had drunkenly and loudly wandered to the large group behind us to hit on one of the girls, which prompted their server to intervene. This of course was through no fault of Wolf Bay Lodge, and even provided a bit of entertainment for us, but I suppose that's just what happens when it's mullet-tossing weekend! As far as I could glean, everyone else enjoyed their seafood-y appetizers and entrees and bonus - the women's restroom had a hand salt scrub that seemed to delight everyone and their mom.

Our favorite place to eat in Orange beach. Food was great. Very fast service. A+ Will be coming back.

  • Jennifer S.

We went to the previous location many times before it burned, coming back to GS hoping it would be the same... not at all! The hostess location is right in the door- the only way in/out... WAY TOO MUCH congestion! We sat outside, which turned out to be the only good thing about the meal! Service was so slow, took us 45 min to get boiled shrimp & fried shrimp!!! Boiled shrimp was old, I sent them back, the friend shrimp ended up making my dad sick later- so they were likely old as well.

One of my favorite places to eat. The best salad bar ever and the food is great. We always get the best service and meet the friendliest people. Would recommend to any one with kids or not, large groups are handled with swift and accurate service.

  • Matt H.

Great experience here. The food was top notch as was the staff. Prepare for a bit of a wait, but you should know that when trying to eat out at the beach. Give the steak a try here; one of the best ones at the beach!

Stumbled across this place when looking for another restaurant that had apparently closed. We had a party of 7. It was great hanging out on that marina dock while we waited for a table. We got a table outside which was perfect to watch the sun go down. We got the Cha Cha dip for an appetizer & it was fantastic! All of us loved what we got for our entrees. Good salad bar. My husband & I split a couple of desserts. The chocolate eclair was wonderful. Key Lime bread pudding was ok. Saw a few other desserts I would have liked to try. Staff was friendly, food was great, view was beautiful. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Loved it so much are here twice. Miss the old location but still delicious! Arrive early and you won't wait. Raw Oysters were delicious. Do not skip fried green tomatoes! Yummy!!!! Enjoyed the view of the boats and seeing what everyone caught for the day. Fabulous salad bar and fried oysters and all fish and seafood are wonderful!!! Will be very pleased with anything you get.

we read about this restaurant on yelp and decided to try it and I half to say this was a absolutely wonderful meal and experience. And would go here again to eat. My husband really enjoyed the seafood platter...

The best parts about this place are the view from the deck and the super friendly staff. And that's saying something because the food is very good. I'm an out of tower but I've been here each time I've visited orange beach. The first time I only had drinks, but we chatted with a friendly server for an hour while watching the boats come in. The second time I tried the food and I wasn't disappointed. Red royal shrimp with hush puppies, fries, and a fresh salad bar trip. My drink was also very big and strong. The only thing that was kinda blehhhhh was the smoked tuna dip. Honestly, it tasted like plain old tuna salad to me, but it wasn't bad. The warm pita served with it was tasty.

  • Donna F.

4 of us there for dinner. Both fish dishes were done to liking. The shrimp scampi ( not served with a pasta) was brown and burnt. The scallops were to have been a cold water scallop from Canada were mushy, with no flavor. Salad bar is a joke compared to most. Second time at Wolf Bay, first try was at the Foley location and that too was a disappointment. With the cost of food either prepared at home or served to you in a dining establishment you should be 100 % satisfied. The day of keeping quiet about a substandard restaurant meal is gone in my opinion, I feel you should enjoy what you are paying for and the cost is not cheap.

Great place to eat. One of the top places in that area if you ask me. I got the big sampler plate and crab claws all were good. Will be going back again next year.

Great Food, Great Service, and delicious Bushwhackers. We went earlier in the afternoon and they weren't too busy and they were very accommodating when we asked to move from outside to inside. The Cha Cha Dip is excellent and ask for Henry he is the best server I've ever had. Thanks for a great meal Henry.

  • B H.

This place does not look like much from the street but has a nice marina view on the inside. Five star crab cakes, excellent w rice & veggies, authentic gumbo, fried shrimp is fresh and light, chicken fingers fresh & good but a bit heavy handed on the salt. Would definitely return.

    (4)
  • Ashley M.

We came here last fall with a couple of friends. I remember visiting the Foley location as a teen with my best friend's family. They always loved to go there for the delicious steaks. It had a homey feel but I really like this new Orange Beach location for the view. The dining room is full of large windows to see out to the marina and all the beautiful boats. It's a large dining area, much larger than the Foley location, full of tables. Seems like it'd be great for groups. The wait staff was friendly. The food was pretty good. I had the boiled shrimp. My husband had a seafood platter and he said it was pretty typical of fried seafood and by the end of it he didn't want anything else fried. I can't blame him for his statement, all fried seafood tastes the same to me.

  • Abrielle M.

Some of the best seafood I've ever had!! The staff was so so so friendly! Everything was beyond excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Orange Beach!!

I've eaten at WB every time I've come to OB. I love the view as I wait. My kids enjoy feeding the fish so that keeps waiting less stressful. Their salad bar is awesome. I can't say enough about that. We ate there Sunday night and I had the special, which was Snapper on risotto with shrimp and some type of Cajun sauce on top. I don't like spicy food so this was not too spicy. It was perfect. The food was rich and elegantly plated. Fish was cooked perfectly. I had mine grilled. The risotto was delicious and texture was outstanding. My dish also came with two of the best hush puppies I've ever put in my mouth. This meal was the best I've had yet on my vacation. I gave 4 stars because our waitress only gave good service once a few tables had cleared. That's not her issue, but management not having enough servers to handle this packed place. It's packed for a reason. Give it a go! Oh, and don't turn away because the parking lot is stinky. It is a dock for fishing excursions where they clean and gut fish. You don't smell it inside. :)

  • Beth H.

Great food and friendly service! Laid back atmosphere and you can watch the charter boats come and go if you sit outside.

    (5)
  • Jessica M.

On vacation and we ate a very late dinner, but it was so delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and helping us pick out what is good and in season off the menu. We had reds and fried green tomatoes both were very delicious. I also had the whitefish which was amazing. Their salad bad also was very good fresh lettuce and all the fixings for a salad.Come hungry and you won't be disappointed!

  • Jay C.

Absolutely the best seafood in Orange Beach. They give you huge portions. The fried oysters are excellent. The service is top notch. Highly recommend!

    (5)
  • Vivian K.

I gave it 1 star because this app forces you to. We waited an hour and never got our food!! People we walked in with were finished eating when we walked out - and we left hungry! The staff wasn't very concerned or apologetic when we told them. There is no way I would recommend it or ever go back!! If you want good seafood, go to Fisherman's Corner in Perdido Key - it's a hole in the wall and the food is fabulous!

    (1)
  • Kay M.

Great location. Loved sitting on the patio watching the charter boats come in. Crab Rangoon appetizer was delicious and one of the few places to find West Indies Salad, which is a real treat! Will definitely return next time I'm in town!

  • Mark W.

Hit WBL last Sunday night, simple seafood. Not memorable, just average. Crab dip,is good, grouper sandwich was ok, gumbo was fair, royal red shrimp was mostly heads. We paid $17 for about 1/2 pound of heads and 1/2 pound of shrimp

    (3)
  • Heather R.

Very good food at very reasonable price. There was a long wait, so we ate at the bar, the bartenders were very prompt, friendly and helpful.

We chose to ate here after reading the reviews and it's proximity to our hotel. I agree with another reviewer that this place is more about quantity than anything else. It seemed like there were mostly locals in the place so maybe they are used to eating this type of food, but for us, it was all horrible. I ordered the lobster of crab bisque? and it was yellow. Personally i have never had bique that color. It was disgusting. I ordered the grouper sandwich, thinking I couldn't go wrong with a fried fish sandwich. There was absolutely no taste and the french bread it came on wasn't even toasted or buttered. I had what i thought was going to be fresh fruit as my side and it literally fruit out of a can with all of the syrup and everything. My husband ordered the captain's platter and everything tasted exactly-we couldn't tell what was the fish, the crab, the shrimp, or the oyster. He had a side of the gumbo and literally couldn't even finish the one spoonful he tasted. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. There were lots of big groups and parties going on so I imagine it has to be the locals that are used to this place and this type of bland food. The service was just so-so. The only thing good was it was right on the dock so at least we could look at the water as we endured this horrible meal. Needless to say i would not recommend this place to anyone.

  • Bethany D.

Last time we went to this location, it was a different restaurant under different ownership. We had such a horrible experience, we swore we'd never go back. Gave the new restaurant a try after a rec from a friend. Soooo glad we did!! It was a great meal. We ended up sitting outside but it was cool enough with shade and fans. Great scenery with all of the boats coming in and out of the marina. My family all loved the Grilled snapper. They also have great sweet potato fries.

  • Mike Y.

Wow....we chose this place per the reviews....BAD MISTAKE. We waited 1.5 hours before being seated. And another 30 minutes after that to get our food. We had the scallop dinner and the mahi mahi. The scallops lacked flavor and were swimming in a bath of butter. The mahi was overcooked. Will not return to Wolf Bay.

    (1)
  • Rebecca H.

The food here is excellent! I got the chicken Alfredo pasta b/c I don't eat seafood and my partner got the fried seafood platter which she loved! The honey mustard sauce was wonderful. The cocktail sauce is made in house and was really good. Definitely coming back here when we come in town again.

    (5)
  • Jeff B.

Was not overly impressed with the food or service. There is a wide selection of foods, maybe too many, but the end result was most of it fried or baked and not prepared very well. Would not try this place again.

    (2)
  • Brannon B.

This place was just ok. More of a quantity than the quality of food. Probably wouldn't return.

    (3)
  • Sarah D.

Great lunch spot. Service was beyond good and the food was great. Give it a try! Also, nice waterfront view!

    (4)
  • Jon M.

My wife and I were very happy with the food and the service at WBL. The salad bar was amazing and included with the meal. The seafood platter was great! There was enough food on one platter to feed two adults and the oysters were the best we've had in years! Our waiter was on top of things and was very attentive. We would recommend this place to everyone! It is reasonably priced and you'll have enough food left over for another meal.

    (5)
  • Nicole L.

First thing is I have to say the service was amazing. The hostess is fantastic so full of joy. Our server was wonderful as well. I had fried shrimp and oysters, pretty darn good. My husband had steak, he thought it was OK. Beautiful outside patio. Salad bar was pretty good too!

  • Michael C.

My soon to be fiancé and I ate here last summer while we vacationed in Orange Beach. It was so good we ended up eating there again before we left!! The blackened mahi mahi was ridiculously awesome. The service and atmosphere was great and to our liking. We did sit outside in the covered patio area. This is one place on our list of places to eat when we're back in Orange Beach!! Like our trip, it holds a special place in our hearts!! We've recommended Wolf Bay to some of our friends that vacationed in Orange Beach recently and they were not disappointed at all and really enjoyed it.

Found my way back to the "new" "temporary" location for Wolf Bay Lodge. Take a 10 minute ride down beautiful orange beach & tucked away right on the water in a perfect location is the current home. Food remains good. Small but nice salad bar, the menu is the place mat. Moderately sized bar with a large indoor dining room & an incredible wrap around outside dining room that is heated & has the roll down see through plastic walls. Food & service was good. My rare blacken tuna was nice. But the money is in the location & the views. Just incredible. If your in the area, make this one of your stops.

  • Tim C.

Inside or outside seating. We chose first available and glad we did. We were seated outside and it was neat watching the boats come in with the catch. I felt a little sorry for the folks sitting directly in the sun, my God it would be like sitting in an oven. Ordered the Red peel and eat shrimp and came with choice of side and salad. It was a little weird having to go inside to the buffet style salad bar. Would have preferred the waitress just bring it. Chose french fries for the side and they were the crinkle kind you get in the frozen section of the grocery store. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was good/average.

  • Stephanie E.

Excellent place to eat. Sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of the marina. I ordered the stuffed flounder and it's one of the best I've ever had. Their salad bar is limited but very fresh. You're only allowed one salad bar trip with your meal. Very good place to eat

    (5)
  • Candi D.

I can't believe this place has no reviews! I've been here several times with my family on vacation. Has the best seafood EVER. So fresh, so great! I love the atmosphere. Family friendly. It's fun to walk around outside and check out the boats. I can't wait to go back here someday! One of Gulf Shore's best.

  • Heartfulla N.

Hoped for a good experience, but it was terrible in so many ways. We never got our appetizers or our cocktails. The main courses came out at different times, which means we waited nearly ten minutes to begin eating. We were right next to the kitchen and we got to hear servers fighting with line cooks, some of which included profanity. Lovely. Guess it's good we had no small children with us. I ordered the tuna wrap--don't bother. There were so many capers in it that most of what I tasted -- and felt in my mouth -- was capers. I love capers, but the sandwich tasted of nothing else. The tuna was overcooked, dry, and flavorless. I couldn't finish my meal. The server was nowhere to be found most of the time, and extremely unfriendly. The kicker to the night was that one of the staff stole my cell phone, and the restaurant never did anything, including review the video they have or go get my server so I could talk to him. I'll never come back. It's too expensive, and the staff is composed mainly of trashy thieves,

Very nice the girl seating us told us they were short handed but it didn't show. Food was great had perfect blackened mahi mahi and wife's steak was exactly as ordered and very tender

  • Danny E.

The new location of Wolf Bay lodge is at Zeke's Landing in Orange Beach and no longer out in the woods. It is a large, open floorplan that is bustling with activity so the kids will stay entertained. I have to say all the food was very good. I had a very hearty gumbo that was more like a chili than a gumbo. It was loaded with crabmeat and okra (two of my favorites). The blackened mahi mahi was a generous portion, though slightly on the bland side. My wife had the grilled red snapper, which was absolutely delicious. Most importantly, the kids meals weren't the standard junk that you get in a lot of places, where the restaurant goes through the motions. It is the same menu as most, but the food quality is worlds better. One daughter had the chicken fingers, and they were actual strips of white meat chicken made fresh. Our other daughter gets a hamburger with an actual hand-made patty, that looked like it could be on the regular menu. Our waitress informed us that the managers were tired of the frozen kids meals and decided to make them fresh. Great choice! After the meal, we could walk out on the pier and see all of the boats that have come in from the day's fishing charters. There was also a dock full of brown pelicans that the girls loved (let's keep it a secret that the pelicans are there for the fish scraps). Overall, a nice dinner. Small, but very good salad bar that you don't get at many places, and prompt service. This is a place we would definitely come back for a visit in the future!

    (4)
  • Ryan M.

I thought it was pretty good, however my father really didn't like it. The salad bar wasn't too bad, kinda on the small side though. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi and it was average. The fries were really good, as were the hush puppies and lobster bisque (my brother got that instead of salad). Both parents and grandparents agree that we'll be going to the oyster house from now on. Maybe it was because we went to the Foley location or they were just having a bad night.

    (4)
  • Holly C.

I would prefer to have outstanding food versus an outstanding view, if I'm going to pay that much for dinner. We will not go back. There are too many excellent restaurants in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.

    (2)
  • Brian R.

The food was outstanding. The service was great and the view was awesome. The combination of the experience was fantastic! I will be returning to Wolf Bay in the future!

  • Tom M.

I took my entire family complete with 2 year old and 5 year old daughters and we had a nice enjoyable dinner which can be hard to do with little kids. The restaurant attire ranged from very casual to dressy casual so I wouldn't call this a fine dining place but the food was very good and it's right on the water. The kids meals came on a Wolf Bay Lodge frisbee as the plate which they got to keep. Of course they loved that. All in all a good experience and we will go back next time we are in the area.

    (4)
  • Sue D.

You must try the Royal Reds. They taste just like lobster! Great ambience eating outside on the dock. The grouper was also very good.

  • Meredith C.

I like Wolf Bay a lot. We went several times to the old location, and this year was my first time to try the Orange Beach location. It was really good food. I usually am not a huge fan of salad bars, but this one was decent (albeit small). I got the small fried shrimp and oysters and it was WONDERFUL. Not too heavy and fried to still have the flavors of the seafood come through. It's also very reasonably priced. We were there early and had no problem having our party of 11 seated immediately (granted tourism was way down due to the oil scare). All in all, it is great, fresh seafood with a pleasant view and laid-back family-friendly atmosphere. My grandfather always gets the frogs' legs, which are also really good (and a rare find on a menu).

    (4)
  • Shawna S.

I came here just to try the Key Lime bread pudding. I didn't try any other food and cannot comment on it, but I can tell you that this is not a traditional type of bread pudding in any way. It is served cold with whipped cream instead of hot with a sauce. And it basically tastes like an upside down Key Lime pie. It was edible but not great. Also thought that the restaurant had kind of a sports bar feel.

  • Margaret C.

We ended up here because Island Thyme had closed. Big mistake. Huge portions of okay food that is way overpriced. The atmosphere inside is very cafeteria like while the outside patio is very nice as the sunsets. However, I was very turned off by the several cats hanging around, especially when a server came out to feed them scraps and get them to walk through all the tables of customers eating. Won't be back as the food is much better and cheaper at Cosmo's or Harbor Grille.

  • Bill B.

Great place for dinner and nice out door seating other than the flies were a bit annoying at times but then again we we're out side. Drinks were very good as was the food. I had the grilled snapper and it was fresh and cooked perfect, my lovely girlfriend had the captains platter and wow it was a fresh mixture of seafood which was very fresh...she did have a piece of fish that we were not sure what it was but all was very tasty and tons of it. Great views and sunset was an added bonus. And the service was awesome! Great place would highly recommend.

    (4)
  • Stacie F.

First, the salad bar is decent but not nearly as impressive as most yelp reviews lead on. Actually, based on the generous portions here, it's a little unnecessary. Like a rookie, I was starving and went to town on the salad bar. So, when my crab cakes arrived, I only had room for a few bites. But those bites were delicious. The great thing about this place is the service. We got in with no problem during the dinner rush and every employee was smiling, helpful and friendly.

  • Kimberly L.

The GOOD: Nice outside seating with views of docked boats, attentive waiter/good service, good waiting area where there is plenty of seating or you can walk around and look at the boats while waiting for your table. Nice little salad bar that comes with most meals. The Not So Good: My grilled grouper had the consistency of rubber. Strange; maybe overdone but a disappointment nonetheless. Everything else was good (baked potato, salad). My friends said their meals were very good. Our booth happened to be right by the bussing cart and staff kept slamming dirty dishes into it. It startled me several times. And it was yucky. They need to move that kind of thing away from diners. Inside seating feels like a Sizzler. Definitely sit outside if weather is nice.

    (3)
  • Linda Q.

I loved the location and view. The prices were very reasonable. You do need to want seafood. The salad bar added a good touch. The food was so-so. The sides were overcooked into mush: corn on cob, sweet potato, mixed vegetables. I would still come back because I love dining outdoors, but would order differently next time.

    (3)
  • Heather T.

Great grilled grouper with Oscar topping. As always enjoyed fresh salad bar. My husband said his shrimp and grits was awesome. Great atmosphere at outside table. Enjoyed a great supper with our three little ones. Very kid friendly. Will definitely be back. One of our Orange Beach favorites.

  • Brian R.

I thought was a great place to eat. You get a lot of food for your dollar. We had the fried green tomatoes with the crab stack. Outstanding. I had the captains platter. It was so much food. For me it was all great, scallops cooked to perfection. The fish was cooked lite and had great flavor. Shrimp were good and I liked that it included a trip to the salad bar. Wide had the stuffed shrimp which were equally as tasty. If there were not so many places to try I would be back.

    (4)
  • Bryan F.

The place was ok. I got the crab cakes which is a recommended or favorite on the menu. Not bad but not the best crab cake I've ever tried. My wife got the shrimp and grits. She gave it a 3 1/2 stars.

    (4)
  • Rob R.

Decent place, but I've had better elsewhere. The wolf platter was pretty uneventful so definitely check out the daily specials. Not a huge drink selection, but the staff were super cool.

    (3)
  • Laura S.

This location is always better than the one in Foley just because the service is so much better, plus this one is one the Intracoastal canal and the view is nice. The food is always good, but this time I made a mistake and ordered the dpecial, parmesan crusted grouper. It had a strange flavor that doesn't go well with grouper. The backed sweet potato with their special cinnamon butter was wonderful, though, as was the salad bar. Hush puppies are also good here! The people with me had excellent food, so order more basic seafood options and you will not be disappointed!

  • R R.

Great place to bring the entire family and perfect for seafood lovers or those that prefer a steak, burger, or even fettuccine Alfredo which one of my children loved. Kids menu had something that pleased each of my younger kids and the meal was served in a souvenir frisbee. Salad bar is decent and came with my meal, but I could have done without it because the portion sizes are large. Nice touch though! We sat outdoors. Great breeze, nice covered area, and service was perfect. Kids enjoyed feeding the fish while waiting for dinner and the boats coming in and out were gorgeous. We would definitely return. We arrived around 4:45 and were the first ones to sit outside, but the entire restaurant quickly filled up. We have found this to be true at most places and to avoid a long wait prefer to eat a little earlier.

  • Alesya K.

Terrible food and terrible service. Ordered an appetizer and never received it. The food was not good....did not taste fresh. I ordered the scallop dish, my boyfriend ordered the sampler, and our friend ordered the lobster bisque soup and non of those dishes were any good.

We love Wolf Bay and will definately go back each time we are in Orange Beach. The food and the service was great, and the price was affordable. Most importantly, the sunset was spectacular.

  • Amanda F.

I really like Wolf Bay Lodge! This is a place I try to visit any time I am in the area. The seafood is delicious. I love salad bars, and this one takes the cake! It's small, but mighty! Everything on it is so fresh, and the dressings they have taste great! I usually get popcorn shrimp cajun style. They also have a pretty good selection of beer and other drinks.

    (5)
  • Brad W.

Great food! Arguably the best seafood in the area. The fried (Canadian) scallops are the best, and I am not a big fan of scallops. I've always had consistently great meals here and the staff is very friendly. Eating at the bar is one of the best seats in the house for quicker meals and stronger cocktails. I hate their restaurant burned down in Wolf Bay, but they are a huge welcome addition to Orange Beach!

This place has great seafood. I haven't been since they relocated, but hopefully they are as good as they used to be.

Had high expectations for our first visit to Wolf Bay based on other reviews on yelp. Came away very dissatisfied. 3 of our 4 meals came out under cooked (raw fish). The 4th was a chicken sandwich that was terrible (I know you should not order grilled chicken from a seafood restaurant). Waitress was not friendly until she brought our check. Best thing going for this place was the view. This was a one timer for sure.

Chartered a boat from Zeke's marina next door, and we took our catch from the morning for them to fix. We got 1/2 blackened and 1/2 fried. It was amazing to say the least. Cooked perfectly both ways with cole slaw, fries and hush puppies. Doesn't get any fresher than that!

Okay, being natives of Louisiana we are very underwhelmed by most seafood joints. However, this place is wonderful and very reasonably priced. We will return. Sit on porch, great place to eat and visit.

Really good selection of seafood dishes. The Cha Cha dip is a favorite. I had the Captain's platter with a side Alaskan snow crab! Way too much food and all of it was very good. Reasonably priced.

Super long wait and the salad bar was not that great. One trip and they didn't have the lettuce filled and some of the toppings were nearly gone forcing us to scrap the bottom. The crab Alfredo was not worth the extra money compared to the shrimp (which was really good!) you seemed to get about one legs worth of crab. Other than that it was good.

Great service, good food, and an awesome view of the marina and waterway...but that could be the bushwackers talking.

Food was reasonably priced and all entrees include a trip to their salad bar. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the water and enjoying an early dinner. Our server, Christopher was attentive and incredibly polite. We never waited for anything longer than a minute or two. Kids loved that the kids meals are all served on a frisbee! This will be a must for us on any future trips!

4 stars is just wrong, sorry. For a hour plus wait it was not that great. Crawfish tail app was way too bready. Blackened grouper of mine was good, but we had Mahi two ways. grilled and blackened. Grilled was ok, but the blackened mahi was dry and over cooked. Not a fan.

Very much enjoyed this restaurant! Food was great. We ordered the fried green tomatoes (topped with crab meat) and fresh shucked oysters. Delicious!! We sat on the patio of the marina and the watched the sun go down. Everything was very good and fresh. Thought this was a very cute spot to eat dinner!!

Ate here tonight with party of five- they were very busy - we were told a 45 min wait and in 25 min were seated! They have indoor and outdoor seating- beautiful sunset we got to see while there! Bay view is nice! But it is so busy it's distracting/ detracting from the meal- large selection - even though we had a variety of taste in the group everyone found something they were happy to select for dinner-my red snapper was good - the sautéed veggies you should not get ( we have garden fresh veggies at home so I never happy eating those out people drown the veggies in butter and it is NOT necessary) someone got flounder that they said was good - my husband got a variety of seafood that he was pleased with - I don't want to go again - my husband does- I think my husband liked the price- prob a good lunch place - waitress so nice despite being over worked!!! Hush puppies yummy - don't like salad bar concept ( it was good salad don't like serving myself behind LOTS of people) -

We really liked this place. Moderately priced. Simple but good salad bar. Seafood was delicious and the view was nice too. I'd definitely go back.

Great food, great staff and inside dinning. Love it. Kids like the frizzbe plates. Gumbo was good.

Lovely view of the water while you eat but food was disappointing. We split the sampler and the best thing was the mozzarella sticks. The potato wedges were dry and had nothing but a bacon piece wrapped around it. Tasted microwaved. I got the Mahi Mahi which was bland and nothing great. We will pass on this place next time we come through. After looking at some reviews and photos we decided this place would be worth the try but turns out it was not at all.

Seems touristy inside but actually has great food and portions. I tried their Wolf Bay lager on draft and it's pretty good. They also have a decent amount of bottled beers and drafts. Crab cake and fried fish sandwich were very good. The fish filet was twice as big as the bun. Highly recommend. Coconut cake is the only dessert to order. Melts in your mouth.

BEST GUMBO in Gulf Shores. I have just about tried every place, hands down Wolf Bay has the best Gumbo!!! It's rich, flavorful, and filling! This is one of those beach establishments where if you want to go you better be willing to wait in line for an hour or so. Once inside, the atmosphere is nice and the place is clean. Service is quick and friendly, carefully what you order, so of the entree can be kinda bland but still good. Overall an enjoyable experience, I'll will be back!
